Ok, for most protein supplements can be very confusing. Im hear to try and shed a little light on the subject. You have a few categories of supplements. You have your ready to drink protein, and protein bars and powders. Most fitness professionals will agree that whey protein is the best. The body absorbs this protein very fast and it seems to be digested the best. You should consume whey protein immediately before your workout or after, simply because it's digested so quickly that the body is ready to use it. Im gonna name some of the best protein shakes, powders and ready to drinks.

Of course supplement should only be used if you don't have a good diet or your always on the go like me. You should be eating six small meals a day and replacing three of those meals with supplements, and eat 3 small food meals. Usually about 300-500 calories per meal depending on your size. Supplements are great and they work. Just make sure you pick the one that works for you. If you have a problem with sugar make sure that the supplements you choose are low in that. Know your body and pick the right supplement.
